  • Supporting the Vasse Community Gardens with a pledge of $5,000

  • Supporting the Vasse Bush Fire Brigade with $4,500 to assist with faster response times

  • Supporting the Busselton CWA with their house refurbishment

  • Supporting Dementia patients at Ellenvale & William Carey Court Nursing homes in conjunction with Australian Lions Foundation and the community $30,000

  • Supporting Vasse Primary School

  • Supporting Discovery at Play Child Care Centre & Vasse Primary School in conjunction with South West Autism Network

Our Mission

We support young people through...

  • Contributing and supporting Lions Camp Quokka.  Type 1 Diabetes Camp for 15–18-year-old teens & 18–30-year-old adults

  • Collecting and repairing school uniforms for local children to create the Vasse Lions Uniform Bank. 

  • Raising funds for equipment to assist young people with disabilities or health issues

  • Supporting Lions Youth of the Year: 15-19-year-old public speaking competition. 

  • Fundraising for  Australian Lions Children Cancer Research Foundation, Lions Children Mobility Foundation, Diabetes and Diabetes Youth Camps, and Western Australian Lions Wellbeing Foundation, Australian Lions Foundation, Lions International Foundation.

We support people doing it tough by...

  • Providing low cost food via Foodbank, also referrals available

  • Providing humanitarian aid and disaster relief (locally and nationally) to families affected by a disaster

  • 1st & 3rd Monday 9:30am - 10:15am at Vasse Community Hall, 10:30am - 11:15am at The People Place

  • 2nd & 4th Monday 11:15am - 12 noon at Churchill Park.

  • Frozen assorted items

  • Assorted prices dry hampers

  • $5 fruit & veggie hampers

  • Low cost food for all.

  • This is a safe non-judgment space

We energise the local community by...

  • Parenting "Branch" clubs in other South West locations, giving them the support of Lions and the autonomy to pursue their own initiatives

  • Partnering with local government agencies and businesses to host community events e.g. Carols by Candlelight, Recycle Rides and Push Bike Safety and Maintenance events

  • Hosting the Lions Vasse Twilight Markets

  • Collaborating with other not-for-profit organisations on bigger projects to achieve better outcomes for our community

  • Maintaining our core values of inclusivity, kindness and service to others
