Our Mission

We support young people through...

  • Contributing to local student scholarships

  • Collecting and repairing school uniforms for disadvantaged local children 

  • Raising funds for equipment to assist young people with disabilities or health issues

  • Supporting Youth of the Year: 15-19-year-old public speaking competitions 

  • Fundraising for  Australian Lions Children Cancer Research Foundation, Lions Children Mobility Foundation, Diabetes and Diabetes Youth Camps, and Western Australian Lions Drug and Alcohol Foundation

We support people doing it tough by...

  • Providing low cost food via Foodbank, also referrals available

  • Providing humanitarian aid and disaster relief (locally and nationally) to families affected by a disaster

  • 1st & 3rd Monday 9:30am - 10:15am at Vasse Community Hall, 10:30am - 11:15am at The People Place

  • 2nd & 4th Monday 10am - 10:45am at Churchill Park.

  • $15 frozen hampers

  • $10 dry hampers

  • $5 fruit & veggie hampers

  • Low cost food for all.

We energise the local community by:

  • Parenting "Branch" clubs in other South West locations, giving them the support of Lions and the autonomy to pursue their own initiatives

  • Partnering with local government agencies and businesses to host community events e.g. Carols by Candlelight, Recycle Rides and Push Bike Safety and Maintenance events

  • Hosting the Vasse Markets

  • Collaborating with other not-for-profit organisations on bigger projects to achieve better outcomes for our community

  • Maintaining our core values of inclusivity, kindness and service to others
