COWARA NATURE PLAYGROUND PROPOSAL - COWARAMUP

After many months of collaboration with the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, and a petition from the community with 400+ names, our nature playground proposal is going to the Council for consideration at their meeting on Wednesday 13 September 2023, in Augusta.  This playground will be an accessible, all-ages space built from natural materials and containing artworks that tell the Wadandi story of the Cowara Bird (after which our town was named). With support from the traditional Wadandi custodians at the Undalup Association, and tonnes of Cowaramup community groups and businesses, this playground ticks the boxes for our dynamic, diverse and growing town.
