Diversity Statement 

We, the members of the Lions Club of Vasse respect and acknowledge the diverse community we serve including the  Aboriginal people  Wadandi Bibbulmun as the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and serve.  We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters.

 

We also acknowledge all members of our communities from across the world and those born in this country.

 

We respect and acknowledge community members with other differences including but not limited to differences of ability, belief, gender identity, outlook, and sexuality.

 

We welcome and respect the great diversity of our community and the strength and agility is provides us.

 

We agree to treat everyone equally with kindness and through our service improve our community.  Kindness for all and the welcome acceptance of diversity in all matters.
